Maria Sada’s gaze pervades the mystery of landscapes and her dexterous brush juxtaposes the nearness and remoteness of surfaces, combining the minutest details with gigantic overall effects; in her skills the diminutive perfection of the tree leaf becomes equally important as the ominous atmosphere of the jungle vault.  Her work confirms the impression of European travelers who stressed the poetic atmosphere of Mexican landscapes.
